Position Overview

We seek a strategic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team at our innovative VR and AI company. With a commitment to disrupting immersive learning, we require a financial leader adept at driving growth, managing financial operations, and providing strategic financial insights. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, with experience in the tech industry, particularly in VR and AI.

Responsibilities

– Provide strategic financial leadership and direction to support the company’s mission of disrupting immersive learning through VR and AI.

– Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and financial reporting.

– Work closely with the CEO and other executive team members to formulate the company’s future direction and support tactical initiatives.

– Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company’s growth objectives.

– Manage the company’s financial capital, optimizing the balance between risk and opportunity.

– Ensure that adequate internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.

– Evaluate and advise on the financial impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs, and regulatory action.

– Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives to identify their needs and seek a full range of business solutions.

– Represent the company to financial partners, including financial institutions, investors, auditors, public officials, etc.

– Oversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds as needed.

– Manage the accounting, investor relations, legal, and tax functions.

**Requirements:**

– Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA and/or CPA highly preferred.

– At least ten years of experience in senior financial managerial positions, preferably in the VR, AI, or tech industries.

– Strong analytical, strategic planning, and execution skills.

– Deep knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.

– Strong understanding of financial trends within the company and general market patterns.

– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

– Strong leadership abilities, with experience in managing cross-disciplinary teams.

– Demonstrated ability to build relationships and communicate at all levels of the organization.

– Ability to work remotely while maintaining strong communication and collaboration.
